Our fabric is crafted from a thoughtful blend of 80% recycled silk and 20% pure mulberry silk, which results in a soft and eco-friendly textile. It combines the beauty of traditional silk with a commitment to sustainability.

Undyed recycled silk fabric

The recycled silk comes from leftover threads collected from silk weaving mills. Instead of letting these threads go to waste, they are carefully cleaned and spun into new yarn. This absorbs natural dyes very beautifully and helps to reduce textile waste. The addition of mulberry silk adds extra smoothness, strength, and a gentle shine.

Care instructions

Washing advice: Generally, dry cleaning or delicate hand washing in room temperature water, no more than 30°C, with a gentle detergent is recommended for these fabric blends.

Natural dyeing advice: The silk in this fabric makes it ideal for natural dyeing. No need to rewash it because it is already prewashed for dyeing. For best results, simply soak the fabric in water for 30 minutes before dyeing.
